Renault: search for next boss has begun
(CercleFinance.com) - The selection process of Carlos Ghosn's successor at the head of Renault appears to have started, according to Les Echos, which specifies that the first candidates have been interviewed for an appointment that could occur in February.
The newspaper indicates that Carlos Ghosn could split the role of Chairman-CEO to remain chairman of Renault, in the same way as at Nissan a few months ago, although he intends to remain inch charge of the Franco-Japanese alliance.
According to Les Echos, the group seems to want to look for a candidate internally, with for example, the names of Thierry Bolloré and Thierry Koskas being cited, while the government is closely watching the case, preferring a French candidate.
