Societe Generale appoints Global Co-Head of ECM

(CercleFinance.com) - Societe Generale announces the appointment of Jeffrey Mortara as Global Co-Head of Equity Capital Markets (ECM), effective May 6, alongside Luis Vaz Pinto to support the ambitions of its equity capital markets franchise worldwide.


Based in New York, he will report to Carl Bassili and Bruno Magnouat, co-heads of the investment banking division within global banking and advisory, and locally to Guido van Hauwermeiren, head of global banking and advisory Americas.

Jeffrey Mortara was previously co-head of global equity capital markets for UBS, where he oversaw a global team of equity and equity-linked market professionals in the US, Europe and Asia.
