Eiffage: APRR's traffic accelerated in 2017
(CercleFinance.com) - A motorway concessions subsidiary of Eiffage, APRR saw its total traffic increase by 3.
2% in 2017, to 23.81 million km travelled. The trend accelerated in Q4 (+4%).
"The traffic was negatively impacted by calendar effects (2016 being a leap year), but benefited from the integration of two new sections on the A75 at Clermont-Ferrand and on the A48/A480 in Grenoble," APRR explained.
In 2017 trucks were the main vehicles using the group's roads (+5.9% to 3.69 million km travelled), rather than passenger cars (+2.8% to 20.12 million km travelled). These trends increased at the end of the year (+8.2% and +3.2% respectively).
