Casino: to simplify legal structure

(CercleFinance.com) - The group plans to simplify and increase the clarity of its legal organisation in France.


It wants to place all its food retail subsidiaries (mainly Franprix, Monoprix, Distribution Casino France, Easydis and AMC) under a common holding company that is wholly owned by Casino, Guichard-Perrachon.

The Group's reporting segments and management structure would remain unchanged.

This new structure is expected to be in place by the end of 2022.

The market is clearly ignoring this, with the share down 4% at noon today.
