Vinci: Eurovia wins contract in North Carolina

(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci announces that Blythe Construction, a subsidiary of Eurovia, in a consortium with The Lane Construction Corporation, has won the contract to design and build the southeastern extension of the N.
C. 540 highway - Triangle Expressway at Raleigh.

The 403-million-dollar contract is part of the broader "Complete 540" project to decongest the highway system around Raleigh, the second largest city and capital of the US state of North Carolina.

This project, scheduled for delivery in 2022, includes the design and construction of a 12.8 km long six-lane highway, the construction of 29 bridges, 290,000 square metres of concrete pavement and the laying of 135,000 tonnes of asphalt.
