Saint-Gobain: disposals in glass processing

(CercleFinance.com) - Saint-Gobain says it has signed agreements to sell several glass processing businesses in Germany and Austria as part of the group's strategy to optimise its profile.


The building materials manufacturer will sell its Eckelt Glas and Glas Ziegler businesses in Austria to the privately owned German group Aequita and its stake in the joint venture Glaskontor Erfurt in Germany to Caleoglas Group.

These businesses generated combined revenues of approximately 55 million euros in 2021 and employ over 320 people. All of these transactions are expected to be completed by the summer of 2022.
