Veolia: creates Graphitech with EDF

(CercleFinance.com) - EDF and Veolia, through their respective subsidiaries Cyclife Holding and Asteralis, announce the creation of a common structure called Graphitech, to meet the challenges of dismantling graphite-moderated nuclear reactors.


Graphitech will be in charge of technological developments and engineering studies, which are necessary to prepare the dismantling of graphite-moderated nuclear reactors, or about sixty reactors worldwide.

Its first aim will be to deliver EDF an optimised scenario for the dismantling of the Chinon A2 reactor in 2028 and to propose a test program that will test the technological solutions that are required to carry out operations.
