Seb: organic sales growth of 7.3% to close on E2bn

(CercleFinance.com) - Seb has posted Q1 sales of E1,893m, up 7.
3% organically and 3.9% as reported.

Consumer sales posted organic growth of 5.8% (+1.4% on a reported basis).

Professional sales totaled E258m, up 18.5% organically (+23.3% as reported), boosted by the delivery of a number of major contracts, notably in China.

Group Operating Profit from ordinary activities amounted to E111m (compared with E65m in Q1 2023, +70%). Its operating margin was 5.8%, compared with 3.6% a year earlier.

Seb confirms its aims for 2024, targeting an operating margin of close to 10%.
