Thales: to supply antennas for Lilium's eVTOLs

(CercleFinance.com) - Thales announces that it has been chosen by Lilium to supply navigation and communication antennas for its innovative electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft program.


Lilium, a manufacturer of electric aircraft aiming to revolutionize regional air mobility and reduce carbon emissions with the Lilium Jet scheduled for 2026, will benefit from Thales solutions for 'sustainable and efficient' air transport.

This landmark partnership combines Thales' advanced technology and expertise with Lilium's ambitions.

Lilium's eVTOL fleet will integrate standard and custom commercial antennas, including VHF Com + GPS, Wi-Fi/LTE, ELT, GNSS, DME, VOR, LOC, Glideslope, UAT and transponder, ensuring optimal communication and navigation capabilities.
