Thales signs MoU with Saab in Singapore

(CercleFinance.com) - Thales announces, on the occasion of the Singapore Airshow 2024, the signature of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Saab to contribute to the innovation and long-term modernization of Singapore's air traffic management infrastructure.


They claim complementary portfolios, as a leader in control tower and digital tower automation (Saab) and in advanced air traffic management systems and architectures (Thales), as well as in ATM support and maintenance.

The partnership involves collaboration between Saab's 'Integrated Digital Tower Suite' and Thales's OpenSky Platform, to establish a common architecture and provide 'a robust foundation for a truly open architecture from 2030 onwards'.
