Thales: ePassports for Thailand

(CercleFinance.com) - Thales has provided the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand with new generation ePassports.


This brand new e-passport incorporates security features such as embedded biometric data and an embossed signature.

15 million high-tech, highly secure e-passports will be issued to Thai citizens over the next seven years.

The Thai ePassport project is one of Thales' biggest programs in this market worldwide, the group said.
