Thales: wins order from DGA with Dassault A.
(CercleFinance.com) - Thales has announced that the French Defense Procurement Agency, the DGA, has notified it, alongside Dassault Aviation, of a contract aiming to equip with a "universal electronic warfare capability" (CUGE) the French Air Force's future strategic intelligence aircraft.
"(The DGA) ordered the Archange airborne strategic intelligence program, comprising three Dassault Aviation Falcon 8X aircraft equipped with the Thales new-generation payload CUGE (universal electronic warfare capability). A contract has been awarded for the first two aircraft," it said. This will be provided to the French Air Force from 2025.
The terms of the order were not provided.
