Forvia: project to adapt activities in Europe

(CercleFinance.com) - On the publication of its annual results, Forvia announces its intention to launch 'EU-Forward', a five-year project aimed at adapting its production and R&D facilities to a rapidly changing European environment.


The automotive supplier explains that this project, which could impact up to 10,000 jobs over the period and will increase its restructuring expenses, should generate savings of around E500m on an annual basis in 2028.

It would enable Forvia to improve its profitability to over 7% of sales in the EMEA zone (compared with 2.5% in 2023) and to rebalance its regional mix, with the EMEA zone accounting for around 40% of sales and 35% of operating income in 2028.
