LVMH: negotiations underway to acquire Paris Match

(CercleFinance.com) - Lagardère announces that its Board of Directors has authorised the signature of a preliminary memorandum of understanding and the continuation of exclusive negotiations with LVMH for the sale of the Paris Match magazine.


The Board noted the satisfactory progress of the exclusive discussions with LVMH, which began on 27 February 2024.

This protocol envisages the sale of Paris Match for E120m, subject to the commpletion of negotiations.

Employee representatives will be consulted. Signature of the final agreements is scheduled for the end of July 2024, and the sale, subject to approval by the competition authorities, could be completed by the end of September 2024.
