Sanofi: collaboration deal with Exscientia

(CercleFinance.com) - Sanofi announces a groundbreaking research collaboration and licensing agreement with Exscientia for the development of up to 15 new small molecule candidates in oncology and immunology.


The agreement covers the use of Exscientia's artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities and its personalised medicine platform - from target identification to patient selection.

Exscientia will receive an upfront cash payment of 100 million dollars, which may be supplemented by milestone payments totalling up to 5.2 billion dollars, as well as escalating royalties.
