Bouygues: H1 earnings dive 64%

(CercleFinance.com) - Bouygues has reported a 64% fall in net profit for H1 2022 to 147 million euros, while its underlying operating margin was flat at 2.
7%, on sales that are up 6% at 18.5 billion euros (+3% LFL).

The conglomerate said that its media and telecoms businesses significantly improved their profitability, while that of the construction and services activities fell, so far penalised by Colas, with the increase in revenues essentially coming from Colas.

The group is very vigilant regarding macroeconomic developments and their repercussions and confirms that it expects a further increase in revenued and underlying operating profit in 2022, despite revising its targets for Bouygues Telecom.
