TotalEnergies: board proposes reappointment at the top

(CercleFinance.com) - TotalEnergies reports that following its annual strategy seminar on 20 and 21 September, its Board of Directors has unanimously decided that Patrick Pouyanné's reappointment will be proposed at its AGM in May 2024.


The Board has reaffirmed its support for the quality and relevance of the strategy being implemented, which will be presented to investors on 27 September, considering it highly desirable that the current CEO should continue to lead the energy group.

As part of the balanced governance that has been in place since 2015, the Board also unanimously decided to propose the renewal of the term of office of Jacques Aschenbroich, who has held the position of Lead Director since May 2023.
