Carrefour: proposed renewals for the Board of Directors

(CercleFinance.com) - Carrefour announces that its Board of Directors has decided to propose the renewal of the terms of office of Flavia Buarque de Almeida, Charles Edelstenne and Eduardo Rossi for a period of three years at the forthcoming AGM on May 28.


Furthermore, in view of the length of his directorship, and for this reason alone, the Board has decided that Charles Edelstenne can no longer qualify as an independent director as of the forthcoming AGM.

The Board has also made changes to its committees: Charles Edelstenne has left the Governance Committee and joined the Strategy Committee, Aurore Domont has been appointed Chairman of the Governance Committee, and Claudia Almeida e Silva has been appointed Chairman of the CSR Committee.
