Air Liquide: 2% LFL sales growth in Q1

(CercleFinance.com) - Air Liquide posted sales of E6.
65bn for Q1 2024, down 7.3%, due to lower energy prices and currency effects, but up 2.1% on a comparable basis.

The gases and services business (96% of the total) grew by 2% on a comparable basis, with healthcare standing out in particular, but commercial industrial and large-scale industry also contributing to this sales increase.

With an order book of E4.1bn in progress, the industrial gases group is confident in its ability to further increase its operating margin and its recurring net income, at constant exchange rates, in 2024.
