JCDecaux: solid Q1 sales growth

(CercleFinance.com) - Published after trading on Tuesday, JCDecaux's Q1 adjusted sales reached 840 million euros, up 13.
1% y-o-y, with organic growth reaching 5.4%.

In detail, revenues of its "street furniture" division rose over the first three months of the year to 344.3 million euros (+2.1% y-o-y, +0.8% in organic terms). The transport sector was 368 million euros (+25.4% y-o-y, +14.5% in organic terms). Its "billboards" division generated revenues of 127.7 million euros (+13.1%, +5.4% in organic terms).

"As far as Q2 2019 is concerned, we currently expect an organic revenue growth above +4% with good growth in Street Furniture especially in France, North America and Australia, while Transport's growth will be impacted by a stronger slowdown in our Chinese advertising Metro business," said Jean-Charles Decaux, JCDecaux's board chairman and co-CEO.
