Nexans: new contract with TenneT in North Sea
(CercleFinance.com) - Under the framework agreement signed with TenneT in May 2023, and following the first contracts announced in March 2024 for the BalWin3 and LanWin4 links, Nexans says it has won the contract for the LanWin2 project, worth E1bn.
This EPCI project covers the design, supply, construction and installation of 250 km of 525 kV high-voltage direct current, cross-linked polyethylene, onshore and submarine export cables. These cables are destined for the offshore connection system that will transport 2 GW of renewable energy developed by TenneT in the German waters of the North Sea.
