Repsol: 9m net income reaches E3.222bn

(CercleFinance.com) - The group has announced 9m net income (January to September) of 3.
222 billion euros.

The group said that the recovery in the first half of the year enables it to partially offset losses of over 7.1 billion euros in 2019 and 2020, due to asset adjustments related to the net zero aims and the global health pandemic.

Adjusted net income came in at 4.564 billion euros, including nearly 60% from the company's international operations, with its Upstream (Exploration and Production) unit the main contributor.

Cash generation over the period was particularly strong too, which, in line with the company's strategic plan, enabled it to reduce debt by 62%.
