BASF: sustainable building solutions in East Africa

(CercleFinance.com) - BASF has announced that it is working with Takazuri to create sustainable building solutions in East Africa, focusing on climate resilience through products using local post-consumer materials.


Their joint solution, Climatile, will improve insulation and rainwater collection, while allowing the addition of functional accessories such as solar panels.

BASF's additives are specially designed for local climatic conditions. Takazuri also uses ocean plastics collected off the Kenyan coast.

This partnership aims to provide long-term ecological solutions and supports economic development and sustainability in the East African construction sector.
