BASF: ISCC+ certification at production sites
(CercleFinance.com) - BASF achieves ISCC+ certification at all its main production sites for acrylics, alcohols, glycol ethers and acetates.
With this milestone, BASF is now able to produce over 60 products related to this portfolio with one or more sustainability attributes.
The majority of the portfolio can also be offered with one or more of the following sustainability attributes: ' Low-PCF ' and ' Zero-PCF ' products reduce the carbon footprint of products, contributing to customers' greenhouse gas reduction targets.
Bio-sourced' products are partially manufactured from biomass, traceable using the 14C method. Ccycled R products are made from raw materials chemically recycled from plastic waste or end-of-life tires, helping to promote a circular economy.
Made using Green Power' products underline BASF's commitment to renewable energies, further mitigating the environmental impact of the production process.
