Merck KGaA: sales and EPS down in Q2
(CercleFinance.com) - Merck KGaA has reported net sales of E5.
3bn in Q2, down 4.8% y-o-y. On one side, sales rose 6.5% in its Healthcare division (to E2bn), although on the other they fell by 11.1% in the Life Science division (to E2.4bn), and by -9.7% in Electronics (to E0.9bn). The Group reported EBIT of E969m, down 17.6%, EBITDA was E1,452m, down 15.1%, and profit after tax teached E706m (-18.9%), giving EPS of E1.62, down 18.6%. Copyright (c) 2023 CercleFinance.com.
