Roche: positive phase III results in MS

(CercleFinance.com) - Roche reports results for its Ocrevus subcutaneous injection at one year, demonstrating almost complete suppression of clinical relapses and brain damage in patients with progressive and relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS).


According to this Phase III OCARINA II study, the twice-yearly 10-minute subcutaneous injection thus has the potential to extend the use of Ocrevus to treatment centers with no intravenous infrastructure or limited capacity.

The US FDA and the European EMA have accepted submissions based on data from this study, with EU approval expected in mid-2024 and US approval in September 2024.
