Gimv: EU approves acquisition by WorxInvest

(CercleFinance.com) - Under EU Merger Regulations the European Commission has approved the acquisition of sole control of Gimv by WorxInvest, both of which are Belgian companies.


The transaction mainly concerns activities related to employment and financial services.

The Commission concluded that the notified transaction would not give rise to competition concerns, given the limited market positions of the companies resulting from the proposed transaction and the limited impact on market structure.

The transaction was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
