Walmart: Credit Suisse raises target price

(CercleFinance.com) - While maintaining its “neutral” rating on the Walmart stock, Credit Suisse has raised its target price from 85 dollars to 103 dollars, the day after the retail giant reported solid Q2 results.

According to their analysts, these strong Q2 results “provide further evidence that its investments are helping it compete more effectively with emerging competitors, widen the gap with smaller ones, and deliver stronger share gains.”

“While we don't view 4.5% as the run-rate for WMT as seasonal was a big help, there are some encouraging trends that should support ~3% comps ahead,” the analyst believes.
