United Technologies: raises the bar for 2017.
(CercleFinance.com) - United Technologies, the maker of Otis elevators and Pratt & Whitney jet engines, said on Tuesday it delivered another quarter of strong results, with organic sales up 3 per cent.
Net income for the quarter was 1.4 billion dollars, up 1 per cent versus the previous year, while net sales amounted to 15.3 billion dollars, up 3 per cent.
Based on its solid year-to-date performance and outlook for the remainder of 2017, the group raised the low end of full-year adjusted EPS outlook range by 15 cents.
The Connecticut-based company now expects adjusted EPS of 6.45 dollars to 6.60 dollars.
