Twitter: raises bond offering to 700 million dollars
(CercleFinance.com) - Twitter has upsized an offer of senior unsecured notes due in 2027, the social network company said on Friday.
The San Francisco-based group has said that it will issue 700 million dollars of its 3.875% senior notes, up from an originally announced 600 million dollars.
Twitter plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, which may include capex, investments, debt repayment, working capital and potential acquisitions and strategic transactions.
The group said, however, that it does not have any agreements regarding any such material strategic deals at present.
