Tesla: soon to open a plant in Europe?
(CercleFinance.com) - According to the Wall Street Journal (WSJ), Tesla is in talks with the German and Dutch political authorities with a view to building what would be the Californian group's first major factory in Europe.
This month the upmarket electric car maker led by Elon Musk, already announced its intention to build its first factory outside the US in China.
However, the WSJ adds that the group appears to be in "preliminary discussions" to establish another "Gigafactory" in Europe: two German "Länder" appear to be in the running for it.
