Starbucks: company to set up in Uruguay.
(CercleFinance.com) - Starbucks said on Tuesday that next year it will open its first coffee shop in Uruguay's capital city, Montevideo.
The US coffee giant has therefore signedjavascript:mode='sauve';change_form='no';verif(); a license agreement with Alsea, a restaurant operator for Spain and Latin America, with which it has worked for a long time.
Both groups have been working together since 2002 and their partnership has already resulted in the opening of 841 Starbucks outlets in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Mexico.
