Salesforce: sharp drop in Q2 EPS

(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday night the software publisher Salesforce released Q2 2019-20, EPS of 11 cents, a far cry from the 39 cents published a year ago.
However, on a non-GAAP basis, EPS reached 66 cents.

The San Francisco-based group saw its revenues increase by 22% to nearly 4 billion dollars (+23% excluding FX factors), which enabled it to raise its target range for the full year.

For example, the group now expects FY 2019-20 sales of between 16.75 billion and 16.90 billion dollars, still expecting EPS of 28 cents to 30 cents (2.82 dollars to 2.84 dollars in adjusted terms).
