Pfizer: positive opinion for Covid bivalent vaccine booster
(CercleFinance.com) - Pfizer and BioNTech announced today that a 30 µg booster dose of their COVID-19 vaccine adapted to the bivalent Omicron BA.
4/BA.5 has been recommended for conditional marketing authorisation by the European Medicines Agency's Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use for people aged 12 years and older.
The European Commission will review the CHMP recommendation and is expected to take a final decision shortly.
