Pfizer: to deliver 100 million more doses of vaccine to US
(CercleFinance.com) - Pfizer and BioNTech today announced that the US government has exercised its option for an additional 100 million doses of Pfizer-BioNTech's Covid-19 vaccine, bringing the total number of doses to be supplied to 300 million.
Under the agreements for the previous 200 million doses, the US government will pay $1.95 billion for the additional 100 million doses.
Pfizer's plant in Kalamazoo, Michigan, remains the primary manufacturing site for the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine in the United States.
