Pfizer: raises target FY EPS range.
(CercleFinance.com) - On releasing its Q2 results, Pfizer has raised its target range for FY adjusted EPS by two cents to between 2.
54 and 2.60 dollars, on revenues which it still expects at between 52 billion dollars and 54 billion dollars.
Over the past quarter, the pharmaceuticals giant saw its adjusted net income increase by 3% to almost 4.1 billion dollars, or 67 cents per share, with EPS therefore exceeding the consensus by one cent.
Revenues declined by 2% to 12.9 billion dollars. In operational terms, revenues were flat, with 9% growth at the innovative healthcare division offsetting the 12% decline at the Essential Health division.
