Morgan Stanley: Q3 EPS down 6% at $1.38

3bn for Q3 (period ended 30 September 2023), compared with $13.0bn a year ago. NB pmt -3%.
Net income, group share reached nearly $2.4bn, or $1.38 per diluted share, compared with $2.6bn, or $1.47 for the same period a year ago.
Management said, that although the market environment remained mixed this quarter, it delivered solid results, with an ROTCE of 13.5%. Wealth Management and Investment Management generated higher revenues and profits from a year ago.
They also completed the integration of E*TRADE over Q3, continuing their revenue generation strategy.
