Mondelez: quarterly EPS just above estimates
(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday evening Mondelez International announced flat adjusted EPS at constant exchange rates for the last three months of 2019.
At 61 cents, this beat the consensus by jut one cent.
The group's operating margin improved by 0.3 point to 13.1%, for sales that are up 2.1% to 6.91 billion dollars. Organic growth reached 4.1% with a volume-mix effect of 2.2 points and a price effect of 1.9 point.
Over FY 2019, the agri-food group (whose brands include Cadbury, Lu, Milka, etc.) therefore achieved adjusted EPS of 2.47 dollars, up 8% excluding FX factors, therefore exceeding its target range of 5%-7% provided three months ago.
