Mondelez: confirms 2019 outlook, new strategic plan
(CercleFinance.com) - US snack maker Mondelez reiterated its 2019 financial outlook and provided an update on the growth strategy it introduced in September last year.
At the consumer analyst group of New York (CAGNY) conference in Boca Raton, Florida, the company also confirmed its long-term targets, including organic net revenue growth of over 3%.
Mondelez also expects to post high-single digit growth in adjusted EPS at constant currencies, it said.
At the conference, chairman and chief executive officer Dirk Van de Put reiterated the company's strategic plan to drive accelerated top-line growth by adopting a new consumer-centric commercial approach aimed at increasing demand.
Investors' reaction was lukewarm to these announcements, with the stock trading down 0.8% in morning trading in Wall Street.
