Microsoft: Q1 EPS up 27%

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday evening, Microsoft announced a 27% increase in EPS to $2.
99 for Q1 2023-24 (+26% excluding currency effects), as well as a 25% increase in operating profit to $26.9bn.

The Redmond-based IT giant's revenues rose by 13% to $56.5bn (+12% at constant exchange rates), once again driven by its cloud activities, where revenues climbed by 24% (+23% at constant exchange rates) to $31.8bn.

Management says that it is rapidly integrating artificial intelligence into all layers of the technology stack, and into every business function and process, to boost productivity for customers.
