Microsoft: announces quarterly dividend of 46 cents
(CercleFinance.com) - Late on Wednesday Microsoft announced a quarterly dividend of 46 cents per share, in line with the previous quarter's dividend.
The US software giant said the dividend will be payable on 14 March 2019 to shareholders on record on 21 February. The stock will be ex-dividend from 20 February.
Speaking to shareholders at the group's annual meeting on Wednesday, group management highlighted a "record performance" over the past year fiscal year, helped by growth in the commercial cloud business.
Shareholders also re-elected the group's 14 directors until the next annual meeting.
