Indeed, having fallen from 3.32 dollars to 3.23 dollars, the figure nevertheless beat the consensus, which was expecting EPS to fall more sharply to 3.11 dollars.
Revenues however rose by more than expected, reaching 12.69 billion dollars, compared to 11.58 billion dollars, while analysts were expecting 12.43 billion dollars.
