Eli Lilly: Elanco offers 2 billion dollar senior note
(CercleFinance.com) - Elanco is offering 2 billion dollar of senior notes ahead of its upcoming IPO, Eli Lilly's animal health unit said on Tuesday.
The notes, which are being offered in a private placement to qualified institutional buyers, consist of 500 million dollars of 3.912% senior notes due 2021; 750 million dollars of 4.272% senior notes due 2023; and 750 million dollars of 4.9% senior notes due 2028, it said.
At the beginning of August, Elanco Animal Health filed an application for an initial public offering with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Elanco expects to complete the IPO process by the end of 2018.
