Kimberly-Clark: recalls tampons due to quality defect
(CercleFinance.com) - Kimberly-Clark said on Wednesday that it is voluntarily recalling some tampons sold the US and Canada as it detected a quality-related defect.
The recall is limited to specific lots of "U by Kotex" tampons, that were manufactured and distributed between October 2016 and October 2018, the US consumer goods group said.
Kimberly-Clark said it has received a small number of consumer reports of infections, vaginal irritation, and localised vaginal injury.
