JP Morgan Chase: to strengthen presence in Paris
(CercleFinance.com) - JPMorgan Chase announces the planned acquisition of a seven-storey building at 21 Place du Marché Saint-Honoré, in the heart of the 1st arrondissement of Paris, a building that is adjacent to its current French headquarters, at Hôtel de la Fare, 14 Place Vendome.
This acquisition will give the bank the opportunity to continue its growth in France, in accordance with its strategy of continuing to serve European customers in a fluid manner from major cities on the continent, including Frankfurt, Luxembourg and Dublin.
The 6,600 square metre building has the capacity to accommodate up to 450 people if required, with the possibility of hosting market activities. The new establishment is set to open by the end of 2020, after six to nine months of restoration works.
