HPE: raises FY 2020-21 targets

(CercleFinance.com) - When it announced its quarterly results on Tuesday evening, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) raised its targets for FY 2020-21, now expecting adjusted EPS of 1.
70 to 1.88 dollar, along with free cash flow of 1.1 billion to 1.4 billion dollars.

Over the first three months of the fiscal year, the IT group reported adjusted EPS that is up 4% at 52 cents, therefore clearly beating both the consensus and management's own target range of 40 to 44 cents.

HPE's adjusted gross margin improved by 0.3 point to 33.7% on sales that are down 2% at 6.8 billion dollars (-3% at constant exchange rates), which it says is marked by stronger than normal sequential seasonality.
