HP Enterprise: Antonio Neri promoted as president.
(CercleFinance.com) - Hewlett Packard Enterprise, the legacy IT business from the former Hewlett-Packard, has just promoted Antonio Neri as president, with immediate effect.
Neri, who previously served as executive vice president and general manager for the enterprise division, will be responsible for the development and delivery of the IT infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, networking, technology services, converged data center infrastructure, telcos and cloud solutions.
"We believe the move was largely expected given Enterprise Group will be the largest business (80% of sales) post the software divestiture (expected to be completed around September 1)", Wells Fargo reacted.
For the broker - which maintains a "market perform" rating on the shares - the key question now is how long will Meg Whitman stay on as the group's CEO.
