Halliburton: completes sale of Russian operations
(CercleFinance.com) - Halliburton announced on Thursday evening that it had completed the sale of its Russian operations to a group of former employees for an undisclosed amount.
The US oilfield services group said that following the transfer of its Russian assets, the divested entity will be known as BurService, a company that is now completely independent of its structures.
Halliburton says it will no longer conduct business in the country following the completion of this transaction.
