(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has approved the acquisition of joint control of World Insurance Associates by Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Charlesbank Capital Partners, all three of which are located in the US.
The transaction mainly concerns the insurance sector.
The Commission concluded that the notified transaction would not raise competition concerns, given its limited impact on the European Economic Area. The notified transaction was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
