GM: China auto sales up 4.4% in 2017
(CercleFinance.com) - General Motors and its Chinese joint ventures sold a record 4,040,789 vehicles in China in 2017, up 4.
4% from the previous year, the US car maker said on Thursday.
This is the first time that GM's sales in China have topped the 4 million vehicle mark, the company said.
GM's SUV sales alone surged 37% last year.
In December, GM sold 491,702 vehicles, up 11.5% from the 434,799 vehicles that were sold a year earlier.
